Dr. Divakar Kamath has more than 34 years of rich experience with world-leading Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, Google, IBM, Nokia Networks, and Siemens in various leadership roles in “Strategy, Consulting, Sales & Marketing, Business Development, and Customer Experience areas". Throughout his career he has developed deep skills in leading teams, implementing business strategies, and driving growth. He was holding leadership positions across multiple Industry Verticals such as Telecom, Media & Entertainment, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Public Sector, addressing various business and digital transformation requirements.
Dr. Kamath has done his BE from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, and his Masters in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He has done his Ph.D. in “Innovations in Rural Telecom Marketing “.
Dr. Kamath has been mentoring MBA students as well as Ph.D. students. He has been a Guest faculty for more than 17 years in leading B Schools and is associated with B Schools such as SP Jain, NMIMS, Welingkar Institute of Management Studies, and Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He is on the panel of the Board of Studies of the PTMBA program at NMIMS and also in the “Area Board of Studies-Marketing Area” of Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad. He is also a part of the TAC (Thesis Advisory Committee) for PhD students at NMIMS.
